IF MY SON'S NDE WAS REAL, THEN MY EXPERIENCE WAS REAL TOO!
One snowy night, the family car skidded off the road and flipped in a river. Chris miraculously survived, describing his NDE. His mother was also able to free herself from the car and swim to safety. She was surprised to see her husband safely on the bank of the river. He smiled at her and said "everything is alright. I love you". She screamed at him in frustration, saying why aren't you down in the river saving our sons? She grabbed at him and he disappeared. Later she learned he never made it out of the car, trapped in the river. |

A SHARED DYING EXPERIENCE
Two sisters cared for their dying mother. In the days prior to her passing, the mother had a near death experience. When she passed, both sisters, independently, shared in her dying experience. It is so important that we spend time at the bedside of dying patients, for us as much as them. |
LISTENING TO THE SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCES OF THE DYING CAN SAVE OUR COUNTRY BILLIONS OF DOLLARS
We spend billions of dollars on end of life care that does not prolong life one minute. The docs think the patients want it. The patients think they have to do it because the docs want it. No one is talking. Spiritual experiences could be a cultural icebreaker to ignite a greater discussion of end of life care. |

Scholar and BBC documentary film maker Tom Harpur and I have a long discussion of the entire range of spiritual visions associated with dying.

DR MORSE DISCUSSES AFTER DEATH COMMUNICATIONS AND THE TOOLS YOU CAN USE TO MAKE THEM HAPPEN IN YOUR LIFE: WITH DARREN McENANEY OF SEEKING EYE. |
![]() When I wrote Closer to the Light: Learning From the Near Death Experiences of Children, I was flooded with parents who shared with me their experiences of actually sharing their child's passing. I then published Parting Visions which documents the entire range of spiritual experiences associated with death and dying, from premonitions to after death communications.

William Peters is a licensed psychotherapist and is the Founder of the Shared Crossing Project. He has developed a series of leading-edge programs that introduce audiences to a broad assortment of experientially based curricula and practices. These programs focus on preparation for a consciousness connecting, and loving end-of-life experience, and they invite exploration of the topic of life after death.
His work heals grief, gives hope, and has the potential to create a new spiritual dialogue concerning death and dying which could save our country billions of dollars in wasteful and unncessary end of life medical care. |
![]() August Go Forth, one of my dearest friends, is a licensed psychotherapist in New York City. He has been interviewed by everyone from George Noory to Jeffrrey Mishlove. The Risen and the Risen: A Companion to grief have been described as "unputdownable" and "wondrous and beautiful"
|
The Risen is not mediumship 101 but rather a comprehensive guide to the science, psychology, and metaphysics of bereavement and the afterlife. I had to read it twice to truly understand it. It is one of the most important practical guides to learning to resolve grief and communicate with loved ones who have passed over. One reviewer wrote: "I got a sense of how earth life and spirit life are really one seamless whole and it's humanity who creates the unnatural separation." |

Near death experiences are the dying experience |
|
As ZDoggMD points out in this powerful video of what actually happens when people in hospitals, we need a new dialogue about death and dying. As a critical care physician, I can personally testify that ZDog's video is completely and horrifyingly accurate.
